Lower Elementary
In our Lower Elementary Program, children continue language and math instruction at a higher level. From word study, grammar and research skills to refine their language ability to introductions to fractions, geometry, and abstract operations. We also begin instruction in science, geography, history, and the arts. Through this program, children gain a solid foundation that will prepare them for the next step on their academic journey.
Language
Children build their language faculties by learning advanced writing and research skills through a variety of exercises and activities. This includes spelling, penmanship, word study and grammar. Our Montessori-based program is proven to teach children the power of language with flexibility and creativity.
Math
Children delve into the exciting world of math through advanced concepts, including abstract operations, multiplication, division, geometry, fractions, and practical life exercises, such as counting money and creating graphs.
Geography
Through readings and interactive discussion, children learn about the physical and cultural intricacies of the world around them. Children learn about maps, locations of different countries, and the physical terrain of our planet.
Science
From astronomy to zoology, children dig deeper into the fascinating world of science. Through hands-on experiments, group projects, and discussion, children gain a greater understanding of the world around them that will undoubtedly inspire them to learn more.
History
Children are introduced to some of the historical events and figures that are crucial to understanding the world today. Our history program will help children for a solid foundation that will aid them as they continue their education journey in later years.
Art & Music
Creative expression is an important part of a Montessori education and a child’s educational development. From drawing and painting to musical instruments, children gain an appreciation and solid understanding of the arts. We offer a wide range of learning opportunities so that children find the best mode of creative expression for themselves.
